Useful information

Patients are generally seen on a referral basis with diagnostics and/or surgeries set up to follow on a future date unless the appointment is an emergency. Diagnostics and/or surgeries are typically set up for the following Tuesday or Thursday.

Dr. Ned Patterson is also available for an "epilepsy clinic" on selected Tuesdays, which are reserved for patients that are typically primary epileptics that have been difficult to control.

A neurological evaluation is completed at the time of initial examination. After discussion with the clients about a diagnostic and therapeutic plan, only initial blood work and radiographs may be performed on the same day.

Emergencies are processed and treated as soon as possible, either through the neurology service or in consultation with other services in the hospital. For more timely service, please call us before sending in emergency referrals.
