The University of Minnesota Veterinary Medical Center (VMC) recognizes the unique and enduring bonds that form between people and their animals – animals who are family members, confidantes, partners, and best friends. When these bonds are tested by illness, behavior problems, injury, or death, it can feel overwhelming.

Veterinary Urology utilizes several services (internal medicine, surgery, interventional cardiology, advanced imaging, and anesthesiology) to provide the most up-to-date and comprehensive diagnostic capabilities and advanced therapies.

The U of M Veterinary Medical Center's Large Animal Theriogenology service provides services related to breeding management and high-risk pregnancy monitoring for equine, bovine, ovine, caprine and camelids.

The University of Minnesota Veterinary Medical Center provides both emergency and elective surgeries for equine, bovine, camelids, and exotic animals.

The U of M Veterinary Medical Center's Rehabilitation service provides physical medicine services such as rehabilitation, conditioning, conditioning and maintenance, and weight management to companion animals, large animals, and horses.

The Primary Care service is a full-service veterinary clinic within the Veterinary Medical Center. We offer routine veterinary care for dogs and cats and the opportunity for our fourth year veterinary students to gain experience typically found in a Primary Care private practice setting.

The U of M Veterinary Medical Center is dedicated to providing the highest possible standard of care to veterinary patients with eye diseases.

The University of Minnesota Veterinary Medical Center's Medical Imaging service provides diagnostic radiography and fluoroscopy, computed tomography, MRI, radionuclide imaging, and diagnostic and interventional ultrasonography.

The Large Animal Internal Medicine service at the University of Minnesota diagnoses and provides treatment for horses and other large animal species with a wide variety of medical conditions.

The University of Minnesota Veterinary Medical Center provides emergency medical services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
